Asin Thottumkal born 26 October 1985, known as mononymously Asin is an Indian actress, model and stage performer. Asin madeher debut in Bollywood with Ghajini, a remake of Tamil name sake, then win the Film fare Best Female Debut Award.

Asin Thottumkal debut in a supporting role in Sathyan Anthikkad's Malayalam film Narendran Makan Jayakanthan Vaka in 2001, at the age of 15 Asin first Tamil language film was M. Kumaran son of Mahalakshmi, where she played with Jayam Ravi.

Asin appeared in his first dual role in KS Ravi Kumar's Dasavathaaram opposite Kamal Haasan, who played the ten roles. Asin later appeared in Vipul Shah's London Dreams with Salman Ajay Devgan Khanand where she played a member of a five-gang squad.
